This 1 hour course is an introduction to the concept of unconscious bias that combines fundamental psychological approaches with classical diversity approaches.

Examine your own background and identities in order to interact more authentically with colleagues, patients and the community.
Explore how the brain functions so that you can recognize unconscious bias as a natural function of the human mind.
Expose patterns of unconscious bias in order to navigate impact on decision-making processes.
Identify organizational leverage points in order to mitigate the impact of unconscious bias in interactions, processes and structures.
Get an introduction to strategies and tools to create transformational systematic change.
