Financial Support

The Cancer Biology Program is committed to ensure continuing financial support for all Cancer Biology PhD students in good standing. Financial support includes:

  • Monthly stipend (2022-2023 rate of $31,750 annually);
  • Remission of both resident and non-resident tuition (students will still need to pay segregated fees, roughly $750/semester)
  • Eligibility for health insurance (health insurance options for a reasonable premium are among the country’s best group health insurance plans).

PhD students are supported from a variety of different sources including research assistants from faculty research funds, fellowships from university, national or international sources, and/or appointments on NIH-funded training grants.
